Using the Frameshift Editor

Edit your site's text and images without calling us.

Using the Frameshift Editor

Your website comes with a built-in tool called Frameshift. It lets you change text, swap images, and update content directly on the page, just like editing a document.

No coding required

You can't "break" the site code with Frameshift. It only lets you edit the content we've marked as editable.

Getting In

  1. Go to your Project in the dashboard.
  2. Click on the Frameshift tab.
  3. Click Open Frameshift Editor.

If your site is live, you can also usually find a hidden login link at yourdomain.com/frameshift.

Sharing Access

You might want your marketing person or office manager to update the site, but you don't want to give them your full netbound dashboard password.

You can create Access Tokens:

  1. Go to the Frameshift tab.
  2. Under "Access Tokens", click Generate New Token.
  3. Send that code to your team member.

They can use that code to log in to the editor without needing an account here.

Updates

Frameshift is software, so it gets updates.

  • If you see an Update available notice, don't worry.
  • Our system usually updates it automatically within a few days.
  • If it stays outdated for a long time, just send us a message.
